It is every man’s desire to make progress, grow and advance. One of the indices used to measure progress is happiness. The degree to which you progress is the degree to which you will be happy.
You know that you are stagnant if the only thing growing in your life is your age. Nobody has all their needs and wants met in experience thus everybody still has an expectation in life.
In Exodus 14:15, God instructs Moses to tell the people to move forward so that they can make progress. God knows that you have desires even though all things have been given to us. Experientially, we are not walking in victory in everything as we ought too. Therefore, these desires are what necessitates the need for divine intervention.
Divine Intervention is an act of deliverance from negative occurrences and circumstances. Divine intervention occurs when God steps in over the affairs and issues of our lives influencing those circumstances to turn out for good.
In Exodus 3:7-8 we see that the people of God were afflicted in Egypt even though they were the people of God. God had to intervene, He came down to deliver them and take them to the promised land. God cannot take you out of affliction and leave you halfway, He insists that you get to a good place.
There are certain situations and circumstances that we find ourselves in that are beyond our abilities as humans to correct or solve. These are things that only God can do and men cannot do them unless God is involved as seen in Daniel 3:29, John 3:2. There is a way God moves that no one can mimic and when He moves, He does not wait for seasons for He is the season.
To activate divine intervention in your life, there are keys that you have to engage.
Heartfelt prayers – Effectual and fervent prayers.Psalm 18:3, 61:1-4, 131:1 Prayerlessness is pride because you are declaring that outside the help of heaven you are sufficient. Isaiah 38:5, Luke 18:1, 2 Thessalonians 5:17, James 5:13, Mark 11:24, Matthew 7:7-8
Mystery of praise – Paul and Silas attracted divine intervention through praise and prayer while in prison.Acts 16:25-26 If you keep your joy, you wear down the devil because it’s the one thing that he attacks. You keep your joy through praise and thanksgiving to God.
-
Obedience – There is good in every land if you walk in obedience. Isaiah 1:19, Deuteronomy 28:1-2. When you walk in obedience you attract God to come to you. John 14:21-23 Everything will work against you if you are walking in disobedience. Delayed obedience is still disobedience for there is timing to obedience. John 2:5 Many people have not been able to experience divine intervention because their hearts cannot obey the word of God and His instructions.
